My Valentine Project

I started this little Accordion Book in a box for my honey last week and just finished it today. It's the first time in doing an altered book. It was a kit at my local scrapbook store had a few weeks ago and I just bought the kit. I had fun going through 11 years of pictures of me and George and see how much we have changed (I really need to get back on that treadmill!....LOL!). I was disappointed to see that we really don't have any good pictures of just the two us for the last year or so. But, that is going to change.

Not Much Happening

Well, I don't have much to say, all three of us have been sick, George and I have runny noses, cough, and sore throats. Briana has been coughing and she has a runny nose and she has a molar coming in..... Aaah! We have a doctors appointment tomorrow, so hopefully they can give us something, cause these over the counters are not working at all.

Hope all of you are well. I will blog some more tomorrow, when I feel a little bit better.

My Favorite Photo

I just took this picture today. My little girl fast asleep on our bed. I just love how she looks so peaceful, just like an angel. I can't believe she is 18 months old, where has the time gone! I love her to death, she is everything to us.

This is the first time she took a nap on our bed, she took my hand and made me lay next to her, a few minutes later, she was fast asleep next to me with her head on my heart. It's funny, how this little one is teaching me to stop, relax and enjoy the day.

Yesterday a Beautiful Day

It was such a beautiful day yesterday. I could not believe it was 71 degrees and a little bit windy. Since, it was a beautiful day and the fact Briana was driving me nuts, I swear she does not stay still for a minute, she is so active and set on her ways. I decided to take her down to our park in our tract. It was so much fun, we had the part all to our self, she ran all over the place and she loved going down the slide on her tummy by herself, her first time.

This little Girl of mine

She has so much energy! Where does she get it from? She woke up yesterday at 7:30am, can you believe she did not want to take a nap yesterday. I tried to get her down several times for her nap, but oh the yelling, the bloody screams. She didn't go to bed til 10pm!!!

She was a demon at dinner. She screamed. Refused to sit in her high chair. Wouldn't eat. Cried. Threw her body all over the place. Spilled her food all over. You get the picture.

Here a few pictures from yesterday. I thought if I took her out of the house, she would run all over the neighborhood and get tired. Boy was I wrong!

Miserable

Our house has been miserable these last couple of days. Miss Briana has been so hard to deal with. Sigh...

Briana was in rare form last night. Can you say cry city? Holy Moly! . She is teething something fierce and is drooling like a fool. She has a molar coming in on the bottom and it is really swollen and bruised. I do feel badly for her, even though she is making me want to pull my hair out. Poor thing.

It is days like this that makes it so hard to be a Mom. To top it off it has been really difficult to get her to go to sleep too. She totally fights it and is staying up (crying) until 9:00pm or so. When she does actually go to sleep, she wakes after a few hours. She whines and cries constantly. Nothing makes her happy. NOTHING!

I love my baby, but this mommy needs some "me time".

Why Men shouldn't..........

babysit. Well, George gave me the day/night off, he took over taking
care of Briana, as I went to a friends house yesterday to check out her
new Cricut and check out some new products that Creative Memory is coming out with.

George: I kept telling her No. But she wouldn't listen, so I gave up and just let her take them out.

I guess this is one of the many joys of having a toddler on the loose. You gotta love the shirt he put on her too.
