Today I will be putting together my Project Life album and finish my 2011 Daily December album. I will be getting back to my favorite Scrapbook forums and catch up with my friends.

Where did November Go!!

Oh gosh can not believe its December already, where did November go. Well lets see....we've all been sick most of the month of November. First it was Briana with the stomach flu, then Christopher, then me and George. We all went down. As we were getting better, we were all doing good for a week and then bam...there we go more sickies in the house. Christoper had fever and ear infection and then Briana a day later with a blister ear infection, can you believe she had a blister on her ear drum, never heard of such a thing. Then you guessed it, Mommy got a bad sinus infection that had me down from 2 days. I started feeling almost human again after a few days. Thanksgiving was not what we had planned since George also got sick. We stayed home and had a small meal together and watched movies. It was kind of nice for a change, just bad that we were all sick.

Hope December is a much better month for us.

Our Happenings

Wow, been so busy with the Holidays, the baby and Briana, my days and nights just go flying. So far everything is good. We had a great and fun Christmas with Briana, so love the innocence. She was so excited when she saw all of her presents, but more excited to see the one thing she had asked Santa for, a pink video game. When I heard this, I freaked out, cause she never mentioned a video game before and it was 4 days before Christmas. I had George and my nephew go looking for her pink video game, my nephew the game console geek knew what she was asking, it was the DS Lite. George had to go to like 3 different stores to find the pink DS.

Now that the holidays are over, we are going into the next stage of our lives. The packing officially starts in the beginning of the year. I already started purging lots of things and still need more. The less we take the better, some things are just not worth dragging all over. We are waiting for an answer on the counter offer we did on a house in Texas. I hope it goes through, cause I am getting antsy and its getting down to the wire for us to find a place and close escrow. So wish us luck that they accept the offer and we can close before the end of January.

Update of my little man, he is doing awesome he has gain a lot of weight and keeps me busy, he is very alert for only a few weeks old. There are times he will eat 4-5 ounces of milk and will not go back to sleep, not a big deal during the day, but when its 2am, you need to go back to sleep my little boy. LOL!!

I think that is all for now, just a quick update on our happenings. Hope all is well with everyone.

Thanks for stopping by. {{HUGS}}

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!!

It was a hot day here in So. California for Halloween, we had temperatures between 80-85 degrees in the daytime and went down to 50 degrees, a little chilly late at night, but bad at all. We had an awesome time this Halloween. My brother surprised us and came down from Vegas. So we all went to my Older brothers house to go to the haunted house 2 doors down and have Briana trick or treat with her cousins. What blast we had. George had rented a Bunny suit and was a hit with all the neighborhood kids and teens too! They all wanted to take pictures with him. My brother told him to stay on his property, so he can charge all these people a fee to take a picture with the bunny....LOL! He started chasing kids, dancing, shaking his pink fuzzy tail....it was hilarious, no one thought about grabbing the camcorder to get all this in film. It would be so funny to watch over and over. Then a few family friends showed up and we ordered pizza, played guitar hero, and just talked all night, I mean all night, we got home after midnight. Awesome night!!!

Here are some pictures of our night. Briana picked out her costume, Meet Miss Bat Girl!

Here is the gang ready to go get lots of candies! There is Mr. Rabbit (George) to protect them.

OK, this picture is embarrassing, but wanted to share it, cause it just cracks me up. My brothers were laughing at my big belly and my wobbling walk. I was giving them a hard time, telling them at least my belly is going to go away in a few months and they need to work on getting rid of their bellies. The rest of the family and our friends were trying to see who had the biggest belly, between us siblings. Glad to know I did not win....LOL!!

I so love my crazy family.

That's about it. Hope you have a great time tonight. {{HUGS}}

Sunday Seven 10/25/2009

1-It's still October and I can not believe the weather we are having, can you believe its still Summer here. The week-end and last week we were in the 90's and at night would go down to the mid 50's. I hope it gets a little bit cooler, just to enjoy the fall everyone is having right now.

2- Well, I did not pass the 3 hour glucose test and now I am on a strict diet and they gave me a glucose meter to check my blood sugar levels 4 times a day. So far the diet is working and my numbers are low, thank goodness. I've been real nervous and upset about this and not having George around all day, like before is not helping. He is my rock and my support. The Dr. said as long as my numbers are low, there is nothing to be worried about. I am praying everyday, that the baby is okay.

3-I can't believe Saturday will be Halloween. With the weather we are having it just does not feel like its that time. We got Brianas costume yesterday. She picked this costume and she wants to wear it with her black boots. Sounds good to me.

She is all excited to go out Trick or Treating.
4- I started to purge some more stuff that we will not need to take with us to Texas. I have bags full of Brianas clothes and toys she no longer needs, some other household items I am giving away to a friend who moved and needs a few things. I can't wait to leave to Texas and start our new adventure.
5-George got a new laptop. Yay! The one we had was old and not working good and the screen was pretty small. He got one with a 17" monitor on it, its so cool looking. I can't remember what model it is, I do remember its an HP and got it on sale. I loved it. He said it will be mine once we move to Texas and he will only need it when he goes on his business trips. Sounds good to me.
6-Speaking of Texas, we still have not found the right house. The houses over there are so different then here in California. We just looking for now, but will have to choose one in December so we can close sometime in January. I really want a single story, which are not that many out there. It will have to be at least 4 bedrooms and we are hoping to have a 3 car garage, which most homes over there do not have.
7- We are getting close to picking out our Baby Boys name. Yay! Almost, we need to agree on the middle name. Briana so far loves his first name, does not like any of the middle names we have shouted out...she is so picky. I love that she is excited to have a baby brother, hopefully she will feel the same once he is here.
That's it for now. Hope everyone is enjoying the week-end. {{HUGS}}

Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary!!

Wow, I can not believe that today, George and I celebrate our 13Th Wedding Anniversary. It does not feel like we've been married that long, seems shorter. I guess that is a good thing, Right?

We've been through so much in our lives, we've had the good, the bad, and the ugly. One thing that has not changed is our love for each other.

Happy Fathers Day!!

Happy Father Day, Babe!!! You are such a great Father to our little girl. I love you.

We had a nice relaxing Fathers Day here at at home. Just the 3 of us. George did not want to do anything but relax, and relax he did. He slept in and also took a 4 hour nap...LOL! Poor guy really needed some sleep. After his all day sleeping, he rode his bike out with his little girl and we barbecued some steaks. That's about all we did, just what he wanted. It was a perfect day.

This is the card I did for him....well Briana helped me and I had her write something inside....She told me what to write and we wrote it together...;D

That's about it for now. Thanks for visiting me. {HUGS}

Happy New Years!!!

Want to wish all of my friends a Happy New Year!!! Lets hope that 2009 will be a lot better than 2008. Hope the economy gets better and the New President will make a difference in this world.
I am ready for a new beginning. I need to put 2008 behind me and start anew. I'm very Hopeful! I will no longer ask "How worse can it get?". So, I will not say these words in 2009. I can't handle anymore bad news or anymore of the doom and gloom of this economy that is changing our lives.

Twas the Night Before Christmas

Happy Christmas Eve !!!

This year we decided to stay home, just the 3 of us and make a fun family day. We really want to start some traditions with Briana, as our families never really had any. Also, because, we still have our coughs and sniffles, the day is cold (45 degrees, I know for some of you its a heat wave, but for So. California its freaking cold) and heavy rains.

So tonight, I cooked our traditional meal of the pork roast, white rice, & black beans (well this year we had red beans, cause that's what the little girl wanted) and a chocolate silk pie for dessert. After dinner we went and drove around a neighborhood, less than a mile away, the majority of the homes have there are all decked out and lights galore. It was awesome and to hear Brianas gasps and shout out what she has seen and at everyone home we drove/or walked sometimes she would say how beautiful it was. She did not want to come home, she wanted to see more lights and we would of like to, but all of sudden it started to pour rain and we had to run back to the car.....LOL!!! It was fun. After coming home we had some snacks and saw the Get Smart movie we have had sitting at the kitchen counter for days. I totally loved that movie, gonna see if I can find a good price on it this week-end.

Today, was also a Christmas Wish come true. We, finally sold the house, we've been trying to sell it for a while. We've had lots of Realtors and their clients come in and out and they loved the house, but the people now and days prefer to buy a REO, Short Sale priced homes, instead of a hassle free home. We have gotten a few offers and then later on fall thru, I was really praying for someone who really wants the house and just buy it. This economy is so messed up, that we really needed this. Now, a new adventure and new chapter in our lives begin.

Please pray that the transaction goes smoothly and we close escrow with no problems.

Thank you my friends. {HUGS}

Disneyland in December

I am so tired and sore!! We had received a free admission ticket to Disneyland back in October and I had til mid December to use it. We finally used it yesterday, I was waiting for all the Christmas decorations to be up to go. I just love Disneyland in December.

We had a blast! We met up with our friends Eric and Caryn. Briana was so in awe with everything. We were all surprised she went all day and all night without falling asleep. She finally did around 9pm. This morning, she just kept talking and telling us about all the things she saw and loved. Her favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean, which surprised us, cause she was scared, its was pretty dark and did not like the first drop, afterwards she was okay.....LOL!

Here are some pictures to enjoy. So mad that my battery was real low by night time, so I couldn't take any good pictures of all the lights around Disneyland. Its a small world looked so beautiful. So bummed!

Briana and Me on the Dumbo Ride-so much fun!

Where should we go next....We've got to check the map Mommy!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful day and night with all your love ones.

This year, we are spending it here at home just the 3 of us, as we are all sick with food poisoning. Briana and I have been sick since Monday and George since yesterday. So I will try to make a light bland dinner for the three of us.

Thought I would share some fun facts of Thanksgiving that I found interesting. Enjoy.

*Americans feast on 535 million pounds of turkey on Thanksgiving.

*According the U.S. Department of Agriculture, more than 45 million turkeys are cooked and eaten in the United States at Thanksgiving. That number represents one sixth of all the turkeys sold in the U.S. each year!

*Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national bird.

*Domesticated turkeys cannot fly, however wild turkeys can fly up to 55 miles per hour over short distances.

*Only male (tom) turkeys gobble. Females make a clicking noise. The famous gobble is actually a seasonal mating call.

*The heaviest turkey ever raised weighed in at 86 pounds – about the size of a German Shepherd! (But turkeys are normally not used as police animals.)

*A turkey under 16 weeks of age is called a fryer. A five to seven month old turkey is called a roaster.

*The Turkey Trot, a ballroom dance in the 1900s, was named for the short, jerky steps of the turkey. It became popular mainly because it was denounced by the Vatican as "suggestive."

*Turkeys are known to spend the night in trees! (Maybe to escape the Thanksgiving table?)

*Turkeys can drown if they look up when it's raining!

*A turkey's field of vision is 270 degrees--one of the main reasons they're able to elude some hunters.

*The average age of the Mayflower passenger was 32. The oldest Mayflower passenger was 64.

*There was no milk, cheese, bread, butter or pumpkin pie at the original Thanksgiving Day feast.

*Contrary to popular belief, the Pilgrims did not have big buckles on their clothing, shoes, or hats.

*Buckles did not come into fashion until the late 1600s – more appropriate for the Salem Witchcraft trial time period.

*The cranberry got its name because the pale pink blossoms on the plant resembled a crane’s head and neck. The name cranberry stuck, eventually becoming cranberry.

*Fresh cranberries are ideal for cranberry sauce. Cranberries of the highest quality will always bounce! (If you try this at home, please wash the cranberries before eating.)

*President Abraham Lincoln established the original date for our National Thanksgiving Day celebration in 1863.

*President Thomas Jefferson scoffed at the idea of establishing a national “Thanksgiving Day.”

*Congress did not declare Thanksgiving a national holiday until 1941.

*The average person consumes 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving Day. (Now that's a lot of turkey!)

Thank you for visiting my pad. {HUGS}
