Finally some FUN!!

I had such fun yesterday at my nephews birthday party! I felt like a little girl, I was the only adult that really got into the whole fun of Sparkles the clown. My Family and some friends were just making fun at me. But, I don't care, I had a blast. Briana at first was not to fond of her, but she warmed up, but not enough to get her face painted. LOL! so, since she did not want to, I did, well my cheek not my whole face....although, the kids were daring me. I played in the bouncer with Briana and the other kids, played keep-away with the smaller kids, some of the Adults did 80's Karoke (really need to get one of these)!! Listened to my nephew and George play the guitars.

Here is my right cheek! Isn't the ladybug so cute!!

This Sparkles-She was awesome, very fun and she did stay a little bit longer than what

she was scheduled for. She loved that offered her lots of water. It was so hot (101+/- degrees) and told me the other party was out in the sun all morning. She was so happy she was under the patio.

Here is my nephew-The birthday boy with his birthday hat that Sparkles did for him.

This is my niece with her face painted.

Here is my little girl, hitting her very first pinata. LOL! She had a blast.
and here with her other cousin, jumping in the bouncer. She loved the bouncer, she was crying when the people came to pick it up at 10:30pm, she did not want to go home or leave the bouncer. Everyone, was cracking up, cause I had to go in there to get her out kicking and screaming!!

This was a hard picture to take, when your bouncing at all times. I think it came out pretty good considering.

Thanks for stopping by my pad. {HUGS}

What Have We Been Up To

Lets see.

First, I will give you an update on my Sister-in-law. We have taken her to see a Psychologist. She feels better talking to him, but she is not sure she wants to continue with the appointments....Sigh!! He recommended a routine for her and some teas to drink to relax her, she is also taking some meds (i can't remember the name of it). Seems to be working. She left a message today and I actually understand every single word and she spoke so clearly. We do hope she continues the appointments with the Psychologist to get to the bottom of the problems she is having. We don't want to push her to hard and let it come from her. We actually, talk and suggest something to her, as we were taking to Briana.

Now, Our cousin who took his life a week ago, has been laid to rest. We wanted to go to the funeral, but airfares were very expensive as a last minute flight. We sent our condolences and flowers. Detectives have concluded that it was self-inflicted and he did take his life. We just don't want to believe this. One of his daughters, has a voice mail message from him the night before he took his life. She has not heard it or want to hear it. We spoke to her and convinced her to at least let the detectives hear it. We will see what she decides to do.

Sunday, I went to my brothers for his birthday party. I came home with lots of my nephews school pictures, he always forgets to give me. Briana had a blast over there, on the way home all she kept telling me is she had lots of fun. I really wish we lived closer so she can play with her cousins.

Thats about it. I have been scraping and feels good, this is my escape from the traumas of real life. I do hope things get better and fast.

Thank you everyone for all the prayers and hugs. This girl really needs a pick me up.

Things just keep getting better.......

NOT!!!

This morning we got a call from our cousins (DH side of the family) in Miami, Florida. Her ex-husband was found dead in his house. So, far they say it was suicide, but no note or nothing has been found. Detectives are conducting an investigation and they are questioning his girlfriend and rest of friends and family.

We are in total shock and disbelief. He was with all of the family on Thursday at his god-daughters birthday party and was fine, his normal self. We just can not believe this was suicide. His daughters was his world and He would just not do such a thing.

I met JC like 12 years ago. He was such an awesome guy, he was funny, very outgoing, great dancer, just full of life. I am in total shock. I feel for his 3 teenage daughters and their mother, who are all so close to their dad. I wish I can be there with them.

Rest in Peace JC!

Update #3

Well, the week just kept getting better and better.

First, SIL is doing a little better. She made an appointment to see a psychologist, the only problems is they can not see her until May 15Th. I've been calling around to see if we can find another doctor to see her quickly and insurance to cover the visits. So, not an easy task.

Thank you everyone for the Hugs and Prayers.

Now, on to the second news. Last week, George bent down to fix his computer and hurt his knee. We just thought he put to much weight on it, but after a week of pain and hobbling around, we went to the doctor. Not so good news, knee is swollen a bit and makes a clicking noise when he moves it. Doctor thinks the knee cartilage is damaged. They are going to call us on Monday to schedule an MRI. Once, we get this done, we will see if her needs knee surgery that is the worst case. If its not so bad, then he will just need physical therapy.

I hope our week, month gets better.

Update #2

Georges mom called yesterday morning......Sister was found wondering the street where they live at 1am. Neighbor was arriving from work & saw her, so he went to ask her what she was doing wondering around at this time of the night and she did not know. He rang the doorbell and got my in-laws up to let them know what happened. My SIL lives at the back house from my in-laws.

George went and took her to her doctor and went over her history with him. Doctor is admitting her in the hospital for some test. All George told me is that they told them that its going to be a very long day and night so be prepared. George did not come home til midnight and they did a lot of tests on his sister. They did a cat scan, blood and urine test and they found nothing physically wrong with her. He did give them a list of Psychologist to see and get an evaluation from them. The doctor did give her some xanax to take for her anxiety.

George said through all the day she was out of it, but the more she talked about the way she was feeling to the doctor, the better she felt. So hope she does get the help she truely needs.

Update.........

Thanks everyone for the prayers and hugs.

SIL is doing okay for now. George and his other sis were with her all day Friday and went over somethings, like an intervention. She finally, admitted that she has been having some kind of blackouts and sometimes, does not remember what day it is. George and other sis got POA's and we have our attorney friend draw up a power of attorney to give him right to make health decisions for her. She does have an appointment with a Dr. tomorrow, that MIL and other sis will go with her. We have another friend that is a Psychologist that would see her this week, if she wants to go.

She has alot of issues that we been trying for her to get help on, but you know how it goes.....you can't help someone that does not reconize that she needs help.

Whats going on.........

Well, this whole week has been interesting to put it in a nice way. My SIL (DH's older sister) has been acting weird. We have a feeling something is up. So here is a break down on what has been happening.

Sunday (3/30)

Calls us out of the blue. Just to see how we are doing. She had left a message on our machine, as we were out of grocery shopping.

Monday (3/31)

6:00 am--She calls us at to tell me that DH mom was feeling dizzy yesterday, but she was okay. She goes on to tell me that she is at the cafeteria at work, cause she got there early and she was not feeling well.
11:00/12:00pm--She calls and tells me she left work, because she felt dizzy.
2:00pm--Calls DH to tell him that she needs to get his signature for the new power of attorney,
that the one he had with her bank they took out to change her IRA. -something like that, she really did not explain well.
2:00pm to 6:00pm--Made several calls to DH about the paperwork and how she is worried that if something happens to her, her ex-husband will take her money and not give to the kids.
(She has been divorced for 13 years now-still thinks ex is out to get her)

Tues (4/1)

8:00am-1pm- Calls DH several times to tell him, she is really worried about the paperwork and she is not feeling well. She left work again, she needs this done and wants to get a Will now. DH goes to see her and his parents. Takes her to get the power of attorney to get notarized and tells her to go take it to the bank.

4:00pm--She calls DH to tell him, the bank won't accept the power of attorney, he needs to present it to them with his ID. DH tells her he will go sometime this week. She's okay with that.

Thurs (4/3)

11:00am--Calls us to tell us the same thing. She is worried something is going to happen to her and her ex is not going to give anything to the boys.

We are thinking the worst, something is up. We are re-visiting what happened 5 years ago., where she blanked out and ran across the freeway and got hit by several cars. She was missing for 2 days, til she regained her memory and the hospital called us. We had called all hospitals and put a missing persons report as soon as she was 24hr missing (law). We could not find her, cause she had given a weird different name to the EMTs.

Friday (4/4)

6:00am--SIL calls to tell me her AT & T check payment, bounced. Does not know what to do. Says she has money in the bank. She is freaking out. Told her if she has the funds, then she just needs to call them and tell them she is sending another payment to them. She says okay, hangs up.

6:10am--Calls again--DH gets the call, she tells him that she does not feel well, she is feeling dizzy and that they called her from work, that her assignment is over not to come in. After, speaking with her George asks her is she knows what day it is.....she says today is April 20Th. Asked her how long has she been feeling dizzy, she said since last week and that she is seeing things blurry. We get up and George gets dressed and takes off to go see her, she lives about 40 Min's away (no traffic).

7:00am--She calls....She is feeling real dizzy and has blurred vision. Asked her if she has eaten anything, she can't remember. Asked her how long she has been feeling this way...she said for about a week. Told her if she has seen Dr. said no. She told me that she had told George that today was the 20th when it is not. Asked her what today was and she did not answer. Told her today was their moms birthday, April 4TH. She did not say anything.
I called George, he is about 10 Min's away, he was going to call her. Their other sister is on her way, she should be there in about 1hr or 1 1/2 hrs. she lives further out.

Pray that she will be okay and we can find out what is going on with her.
