Presenting The President and Vice President

The polls are closed, the votes are counted, and the verdict is in : Barack Obama will be our 44th President of the United States, and the first African American president in the country's history and Joseph R. Biden, will be the first Roman Catholic Vice President.

With a campaign that focused so much on change, lets what happens now in 2009.

Election Day

Are you ready to be part of history this Election Day? Who will be our next US President.


The 2008 election is the first time in U.S. history that two sitting senators are running against each other for president and the first time an African American is a presidential nominee for a major party-Democrate, as well as the first time both major candidates were born outside the continental United States—Hawaii for Obama and the Pnanama Canal Zone for McCain. Since the Republican nominee for vice-president is a woman, Governor Sarah Palin, the eventual winning ticket is very likely to be historic, as neither an African American nor a female has achieved either office. In addition, the Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, would be the oldest first-term president and the Democratic nominee for Vice-President, Senator Joseph Biden, would be the first Roman Catholic vice president.

Regardless of what party you support or who you are voting for, the most important thing today is to take time to vote.

Hope everyone had a great fun Halloween with the kids. Here are some pictures of me and Briana. I have not dressed up in a very long time, and decided to dress up for Briana. She kept asking me to put on a costume with her all week > Since I had the costume from last year and never wore it, I told her I would wear a costume and go Trick or Treating with her. We had so much fun. We had gone to the Kidz Block Party that the city and a church put on for a little bit and then we went door to door. At first she was not sure, but after a couple of houses, she was a pro and the owners of the houses were laughing, cause after they gave her a candy, she would say Thank You, everyone thought she was so polite and at one house, the new owners ran out of candy, as they did not know how busy it got on their block.....so, what does Briana do.....she gave them a couple of her candies.......George and me were laughing and the owners were not sure what to do.....LOL!

Sleeping Angel Photo Contest

5 Minutes of Mom is holding a Sleeping Angel Photo Contest, the winner wins a new bedroom set for their little angel. I just need to post a picture of my beautiful sleeping angel and I will be entered to win a bedroom set from Home and Bedroom Furniture . I’m hoping to win the Lily Rose set for Briana......wouldn’t that be awesome!!! I can just see her and her BFF puppy sleeping there instead of on our bed.

Happy World Card Making Day!

Today is World Card Making Day!! One of my new loves is making cards and it's nice we have a whole day to celebrate these wonderful little creations. I've only been creating cards for about a year now and I am loving it. I credit my new found love to the all the talented girls over at Screapfreak. Thanks girls!!!


I still need to learn lots, but here are a few I did, they were challenges over at Citrus Tree Studios in honor of World Card Making Day.

That is all going around here today. Pretty lazy day, we actually had Fall weather here, little bit of rain and all. Finally! I am still working on getting rid of my cold.

Chemistry is a movie that George Directed and Produced. The movie is about a guy who meets the girl of his dreams at a speed dating event. It stars Catherine Chiareli (she has been on Temptation Island, Two & a Half Men, Chicago (the movie)), Jenn Gotzon (she has been on Pushing Daisies, CSI: NY, Derailed), Ron Rogee (hes been in serveral shows and movies like Desparate Housewives, Monk, 24, Dexter, Las Vegas) and Kevin Held (he is just getting started in the movie biz).
