Emotional Friday

This morning, George left for his/our new adventure in life. He drove off to Texas. It's a 2 day trip by road. I am very worried about him driving down. I know he will be okay, but there are some crazy drivers out there. He will be checking in every so often to keep me from worrying. I know he was nervous this morning. He kept procrastinating on leaving. He was suppose to leave at 8am and left way later then that...LOL! He said, kissed us, and hugged us good-bye a million times. Love him. He will be back soon, I just hope the days goes by fast.

So far, Briana is doing good. I don't think she quite understood that Daddy was not coming home from work tonight. So, hopefully tonight and rest of the week will go smoothly. George is usually the one that tucks her into bed, gives her her warm glass of milk, and reads her a bedtime story. It's their moment, George was saying he was going to miss this every night. I feel so sad, he is such a good daddy.

Me, I am doing okay, I woke up nervous and once in awhile I get teary eyed and I try not let Briana see my tears. I think my hormones are taking over. So much going on, so many changes in our lives this year, its scary. I just got to remember that God has a plan and he will not lead us the wrong path. Trying to keep the faith going.

Also, today is 9/11. Its been 8 years since the attack. My heart goes out to the families that lost their love ones on this day, and thanking those who fight for our freedom everyday. God Bless.

Friday Fill in #140

1. I feel tired today.

2. Watching Briana singing and dancing is always fun.

3. Right now, I can hear these things: George on the phone with a client, Briana playing and singing in the family room.

4. Today I woke up early, I'm glad to see the sun shining in our bedroom window.

5. The last time I slept in was 5 months ago when I was in my first trimester.

6. I hope we have a BBQ and lots of fun this Labor day weekend.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to some relaxation, tomorrow my plans include some clothes shopping for George and Sunday, I want to scrap and make some cards!

Sunday Seven

Good Sunday Morning/Afternoon everyone. Lots going on in the Heredia Family.


1. On Friday, we found out we are having a little boy. Here's the ultrasound picture they gave us. We have a few more, but these are the most important one. The last one shows his little wee wee....he he he. It was funny when the Ultrasound Technician showed us the Pe*is....Briana was with us and she thought the the lady said Peanuts......she told us that was silly that the baby was eating peanuts....LOL!!! Love my little girl!.

2. I am now 24 weeks, per the Technician. So the due date is more closer to my Birthday, then Christmas. Will have to wait and see what my doctor says on my next appointment. Since I will be having a c-section, they up the delivery to about 7-10 days of your due date.

3. George was offered an Executive position. He thought about really hard and we went over some things and thought it was a great opportunity. The way the economy is and the Real Estate business here is slow we figure we need to get back on track and have a more steady income, instead of a Self-employed income that is barely anything. So last week, he accepted the offer. The catch to all of this is that the company and position is in Texas. So we will be moving to Texas real soon.

4. My nephew Brandon is excited we are moving to Texas, he is in Arlington right now. Just moved there a few months ago. He will not be alone anymore, he will have us and we will have him to help out whenever we need something. He is the best.

5. We had a surprise visit this afternoon by Muso and Regina. They are such great people. They bought lunch for all of us and lots of goodies for Briana. We've been trying to get together for a while and they just decided to show up and surprise us. Good thing we were home.

6. I actually scrapped a little today. It felt good. I really needed to do something else to distract and relax me a little from all the big changes happening around us. So much has happened this year that its just over whelming sometimes and with these pregnancy hormones, well very emotional too.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to some good tv time with my hubby, tomorrow my plans include looking for housing in Texas and purging some more and Sunday, I want to just chill with my family!

It's Friday Fill in Day

1. I remember, I remember when summer was my favorite season.

2. Dear Mom and Adrian I want you to know you are always in my mind and heart. I miss you both.

3. Is that my baby girl all grown up!!???

4. I'm trying to resist the temptation of having a big slice of cake.

5. I'm saving a big hug and kiss just for you!

6. If I made a birthday list a past, present and future diamond ring would definitely be on it!!!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Monk and Psych while folding clothes (exciting I know), tomorrow my plans include cooking Carne con Papa for our dinner guests Eric and Caryn and Sunday, I want to just chill and scrap!

Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary!!

Wow, I can not believe that today, George and I celebrate our 13Th Wedding Anniversary. It does not feel like we've been married that long, seems shorter. I guess that is a good thing, Right?

We've been through so much in our lives, we've had the good, the bad, and the ugly. One thing that has not changed is our love for each other.
