Life with a Toddler......

Nobody told me how life is with a 22 month old. It is so challenging and exhausting. You spend so much of the day feeding,teaching,comforting, and chasing after your little toddler that you end up with little time to make dinner, clean, do office work, and much less relax. There are days my little princess drives me crazy,and there are days that she is so incredibly funny.

Today was one of the those drive me crazy days. Our day started fine,no problems, we played outside, did some errands, it was all good. Until, I had to return some client phone calls and e-mails. I left Miss B watching one of her favorite cartoons, Dora. Well, she came into the office and I saw red on her face and I thought OMG! she's bleeding. Nope, not bleeding.......it was just Mommy's red lipstick from her make-up bag. Yes, she is a true toddler now.

* two things I'm doing tomorrow ... Laundry and playing with my toddler (Briana)

* two longest car rides ... trip to Las Vegas on a long week-end (5 hrs) & trip to San Francisco

* two favorite holidays ... Christmas and Halloween

* two favorite beverages ... Coca-Cola Classic and hot chocolate

* two favorite scrapbooking tools ... Quickutz Revolution and Crop-A-Dile

* two favorite scrappin' companies ... Bazzill and Basic Grey

Mother's Day

I had a good and fun day today. We barbeque some chicken and ribs. Had some yummy potato salad and my mother-in-law made a flan (my favorite). We played a lot with Briana, boy that girl can hang! She did not take a nap til 6pm and up at 6:45pm! We watched the movie Night at the Museum. When In-laws left I was able to do some scrapping, while George watched Briana downstairs so I can have some peace, at least for a little while.

I could not ask for a better day. I hope everyone has had a Happy Mother's Day.

I'm such a bad blogger. I can't believe how fast the days have gone by. Nothing much has been happening in our household. So I thought,I would share Briana's new passion. Painting and coloring. She is finally becoming a little less active, which is good, well at least I think is good for me. She is finally learning to sit and watch cartoons. She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doodlebops, Dora, Wonder Pets, and Backyarigans. These are just a few of her absolute favorites.

My Maternal Grandmother

Today is my Grandmother's 92ND Birthday!

Even though she says she is only 15. LOL!

I can not believe how great she looks for her age. She is super healthy and very active lady. She does everything herself, she is a very gracious, loving lady.

This Week.....

Has flown by fast. I can't believe it's Friday. We have not done much
this week, just work, work, work. I was able to finish a layout today.
I haven't been able to do much scraping with my little one. She is keeping me busy, which I love.

Here is the layout I did today. It's one of my favorite photos of Briana and her Daddy. She was just 5 1/2 months old. I can't believe how far behind I am on her alblum. She is already 21 months old.

1- I love to scrapbook but rarely do....Have a very active 21 month little girl who doesn't let me.
2- I drink Cafe con Leche every morning. If I don't I will be in a very bad mood all day, until I have my cafe con leche. I think it's called an addiction.LOL!
3- I love to have the TV on for noise, when the house is to quiet. Which is not that often anymore. LOL!
4- When I am nervous, I play with a strand of my hair, curl it around my finger. Have had this habit since I was a little girl.
5- Love being a Mom! Even though sometimes it's hard.
6- Love being barefoot inside my house. Can't stand wearing shoes indoors, I don't know why or when that started.
7- I am the photo taker in the family.....I love taking pictures.
