Some News......

George has been script writing for a little while, less than a year now. He gave one of his scripts to a well known actor, I will name him MD(I don't really want to give this away, just yet)about 3 weeks ago and never heard anything. Well, Friday afternoon MD called here at our house, I was shocked. He is very nice and to the point type of guy. He liked Georges script and wants to get together to go over the details when his Producer (don't know who this is) arrives to California in about a month or so. They do want to film in the state of Connecticut. Can this be true? I am so shocked. I don't want to get overly excited, cause you just never know what really ends up happening.

Lets cross out fingers everything goes well.

(just wanted to document this) :)

Her Little Toes

Look who got her first pedicure. Let's say daddy was not happy, nor were her Uncles....Geez, it was just for fun. I guess women think it is a cute thing to do with her mommy and men think they are way to young to do these kind of things. Oh well, I think it's cute and I love how they look with her sandals.

Briana painted toe nails.

Don't they look cute!

Not much happening in the Heredia household. All is well, which is good. We did have a small earthquake today. I think it was a 3.9 in Lake Elsinore, which about 30 miles away, but we felt a little shake.

Thanks for visiting. HUGS!

My Dancerina

The other day, George and I went through some boxes in the garage. I found a box that was not marked. When I opened it I was shock to find some of my old toys. I can't believe I found my Dancerina doll. This doll was given to me when I was 2 years old at Christmas time. My eyes teared up and I was telling George how much I played with this doll with my mom. I am so glad she is still with me. She is in okay condition, her outfit is a little faded and a few little holes here and there on her tutu. I am going to keep it in the box until Briana is old enough and take care of her. This is going to be one of many hand me downs she can pass to her daughter.

Here is a little detail about this doll, that I was able to find online.

She was introduced by Mattel in 1968. She stands at 24 inches tall. She is battery operated doll. If you push her crown down she will spin around. If you pull the crown up, she kicks her legs back and forth. She turns in either direction and can also dance in place on her tip-toes. The doll has a thin plastic record with dance music to be played on a regular record player (33 1/3 rpm).

Another Shaky Morning

Well, we had another earthquake this morning, it was closer to home this time. It was a 3.2 magnitude at 8:30am. Poor Briana got really scared, I grabbed her and went under the doorway, she was holding on to me so tight. All, she kept saying "Mommy, I'm scared". Today's earthquake was felt stronger then yesterday's, even though it was smaller. I guess cause it was much closer to us.

It's unbelievable how many small earthquakes happen on a daily basis. I was looking here to see how strong this quake was and saw how everyday there are earthquakes we do not feel.

No damage was reported from either quake and we are doing fine.
