My 31 month old!

So.....lets see....The last couple of weeks Briana has given me hell to take a bath or a shower, change her diaper, and get dressed to go out. She would not get near the tub or shower at all. Now, she loved her bubble baths and played with her bath toys....I used to have to bribe her to get out, because she just loved it so much. Now, she screams bloody murder and gets hysterical. Now to get her out of her pj's and go out to run errands, or just get out of the house is another problem I am having. I do not understand why, she used to be the first one out the door. Today, was bad, we had to go to a friends funeral and leave the house an hour and 1/2 to get to the cemetery on time and not miss the services. Well, Briana had other plans, she did not want us to change her clothes or diaper, we were running about 15 Min's behind and I just got fed up and grabbed her and forced her to get dressed, she was crying and screaming, poor kid. I know I did this wrong and you all can reprimand me and tell me I am a bad mother, but I've done everything the Dr., family, and friends have told me. I am just losing my patience and running out of ideas. I am so glad George is more cool collected and has more patience then me. He did have a breakthrough with her over the week-end, but today we are back to where we started.

I do not know what else to do....I am so frustrated.

I just love when George and I spend most of our nights playing with Briana. We play the tickling game with her, we sing while she plays with her little piano or George rocks out with her, she plays her guitar and George plays his. It so much fun to see how much she has learned and see her personality evolve. Nothing can be better than
staying home and enjoying my two beautiful loves!!

What A Great Day......

for Cubans!! Fidel Castro has resigned after 50 years in power! It's about time.
All though his resignation would not bring any significant change to the island. His brother Raul Castro has been making all the decisions for over a year since Fidel has been ill, so he is seen as the most likely the successor. We won't see any real celebrations from Cuban Americans as we believe Raul Castro will be the same as his brother. They are dictators!!

We do hope a good change will happen soon. I would love to visit the island where my parents grew up and meet my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins there. I would love this to happen so my dad can see his family, his family he left over 45 years ago and has not seen them since. Maybe 2008 will be a good year for Cuban Americans!

Our Valentines Day

We had a nice Valentines Day, we stayed home, I made a nice dinner for the three of us. I made a card for my two valentines. George surprised me with a beautiful card, he sure knows how to write something beautiful that just makes my eyes teary. All though, Valentines Day is just not the same when we were dating, George and I used to go all out on this day and sure do love being home and enjoy the day with him and Briana. I guess after 12 years together, saying I love you every time we talk, see each other or when we leave somewhere is all we need from each other. I don't need the red roses from him to show me how much he loves me. He lets me know that every single day and night.

My Mini Album

Not much happening around here lately. Life has been hectic these past few days. Briana has had that bad stomach flu and is just now getting better. Thank goodness.

I just finished this 6x6 Bo Bunny Naked Binder Album. It's Georges and I love story. It was so much fun to do, to look back at our pictures when we were dating and our married life together. We still need to fill it out and put in our thoughts. I just love the way it turned out, it's so much prettier in person. Here is some pictures. I did not take pictures of all the pages, just some to give you a peek inside.
