1. I am the youngest of 3. The only girl. Yup, baby sister :D
2. I am Cuban (like some of you did not already know that LOL!)
3. I was a very shy teenager. ---Still am in a way.
4. I have never had a driving ticket, never been pulled over by the police.
5. I wanted to be an Accountant.
6. I Hate shopping for clothes.
7. I love hot fudge sundae's.---Wish I had one right now. :D

Happy Easter!!

Hope everyone has a great Easter with the family. We did not really do anything special, as George is sick with the flu. We did have the Easter bunny visit Briana this morning and he left her a basket full of goodies.

This year was fun to watch her face when she saw her basket. I had George keep her occupied upstairs in our room, while I went downstairs to get her basket out of the closet and leave a trail of eggs for her to follow when she came downstairs for breakfast. It was so funny to hear her yell, Daddy! Mommy! the Easter Bunny came, look at all the eggs all for me!! LOL! I am glad George got up and got the video camera. It was priceless.

A Gift for Me

A few weeks ago a dear friend of Georges family lost a dear friend. Her name was Albertina. I was happy to say, I met this great lady when George and I were dating. She was a very talented and sweet lady. She passed away from Cancer. Her husband died a very long time ago and they only had one son. Well, he came over the other day to bring me something his mom left for me, can you believe it ME. I was so taken back, I just cried. No one has left me something in their will. I mean, I do have my mom jewelery and my house has some furnishings and decor that my dad gave me, when I got married and I treasure those with my life. But, from a person outside of family, never. Here is a picture of what he gave me.

This is a handmade fruit bowl she did with silicone (I think). It is so pretty in person.

and this is a statue of the Virgin Mercedes, she is one of many patrons of Cuba. This is the Virgin I have on my medallion that I wear and my mom gave me.


I am just so in awe with the gifts she left me. I will treasure these for ever.

This Made my Day!

I just received an e-mail from Creating Keepsakes. They are going to publish my answer to their Junes "In Your Words" question. I had submitted my answer for fun, I had totally forgotten about it. The best part is they will be sending me a copy of Computer Tricks for Scrapbooking 2 in about a month after the June 2008 CK issue is available. I can't wait!!!

Scrapfreak Birthday Bash Crop

I spent the weekend scrapping with some great friends online at Scrapfreak. Scrapfreak celebrated their 1st Birthday with a Birthday Bash Crop! There were so many awesome challenges, projects and fun games. I had lots of fun with all of them. I just wished I had time to do all of the projects, but had family staying over the week-end and I could not ignore them.

Layout for one of the Challenges: The Challenge was to do a Birthday theme layout, use rub-ons, 3 or more pictures, must have a Number and the word Birthday on the layout. This was my take.



















Besides all the fun I had scrapping with the girls, we had an awesome chat with the Team Freaks and my chat number was picked and I also won the Digi Card Challenge so I get to pick any 2 paper lines from the store.

My 31 month old!

So.....lets see....The last couple of weeks Briana has given me hell to take a bath or a shower, change her diaper, and get dressed to go out. She would not get near the tub or shower at all. Now, she loved her bubble baths and played with her bath toys....I used to have to bribe her to get out, because she just loved it so much. Now, she screams bloody murder and gets hysterical. Now to get her out of her pj's and go out to run errands, or just get out of the house is another problem I am having. I do not understand why, she used to be the first one out the door. Today, was bad, we had to go to a friends funeral and leave the house an hour and 1/2 to get to the cemetery on time and not miss the services. Well, Briana had other plans, she did not want us to change her clothes or diaper, we were running about 15 Min's behind and I just got fed up and grabbed her and forced her to get dressed, she was crying and screaming, poor kid. I know I did this wrong and you all can reprimand me and tell me I am a bad mother, but I've done everything the Dr., family, and friends have told me. I am just losing my patience and running out of ideas. I am so glad George is more cool collected and has more patience then me. He did have a breakthrough with her over the week-end, but today we are back to where we started.

I do not know what else to do....I am so frustrated.
