Tired and Frustraded

Well, it's been almost a full week of Briana's early morning screams. Never fails between 2:30 and 3:00 it when it starts. But, today for some reason was different. She woke up crying at 2:30am, we both got up one prepares the bottle, the other goes to change her diaper. That's our routine, she falls back to sleep while drinking her bottle, not tonight. Tonight, she decided to stay up until 4:10am!! I am so tired and frustrated, that I just want to cry my eyes out. I don't know what else to do.

I wish my Mom were here to help and guide me through this. She had the magic grandma touch, she would so easily calm and ease her grandkids back to sleep. She always knew what to do.

Nightmares or Night Terrors? or What?

Briana has been waking up screaming in hysterics several times at night. It has happened 3 times this last 4 nights. I can't figure out what is going on. I have searched for some answers, and all I can come up with is these two possibilities.

Nightmares or Night Terrors.

Nightmares, we all now this is when you dream something scary. But, I've never heard of Night Terrors, this is a partial waking from sleep with behaviors such as screaming, kicking, panic, sleep walking, or mumbling. They usually occur within 2 hours of the time baby goes to sleep. They say these are harmless and each episode will end in deep sleep and it is considered normal until age 6.

These are some of the symptoms of the Night Terrors

* Your child is frightened but cannot be awakened or comforted.
* Child's eyes are wide open but she does not know that you are there.
* Episodes last from 10 to 30 minutes

Although, I think what she is having are nightmares, she does have some of the symptoms indicated for Night Terrors. They say to prevent the Night Terrors is to make sure the baby is not overly-tire, make sure they go to bed at a regular time and early enough to give them enough sleep and make sure they get their daily nap. I do think she does all this already, I'm going to monitor it more carefully and it occures more, I will call her doctor.

Hopefully, we will get a good night's sleep tonight.

Thanksgiving

I can not believe it's Thanksgiving tomorrow. We are having Thanksgiving dinner at my Mother-in-Law's house this year. She's pretty much doing everything. All she wants us to bring is the wine. That's not a problem with us as we have lots of it here at home.

We belong to Wilson Creek Wine Club. The winery is located in Temecula, CA. I just love it there, the winery is about 45 mins to an hour from where we live. I love their Merlots and the Estate Zinfandel. But my #1 choice from them is their Almond Champagne, OMG it is the best and this is from someone who's not a real Champagne drinker.

Well, it's been sunny and gorgeous here in So. California. We really haven't gone outside to enjoy the weather, except to go grocery shopping and run some errands. We've just been busy these past few days with work.

I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Fun & relaxing Weekend

Saturday Fun:

Went to Memory Creators Holiday Open House. I had a great time, it was nice to see Carolyn, Jen, Amy, Stacye and Sally again. They had an entire day of make-n-takes, refreshments, and had some fun giveaways.

Here is a picture of the make-n-takes I was able to do.

I still need to add 2 pictures to the blue one. I'm going to put a picture of Briana and Santa from last year and then on the other one, I'm going to put this year of her and Santa.

Here is a picture of the goodies I won in one of the raffles. They came in a great tote bag.

Sunday Relaxing

We didn't do much on Sunday. We rented the movie The Da Vinci Code, it was a good movie. I liked how it takes you to a long journey through history, religions, family secrets and complex puzzles. There were at times, I did feel the movie was to long. But overall I think it's a great movie to see. The rest of the day we just hanged out and enjoyed the day.

My Sweet Little Angel

Today is a sad day for us. Today, 4 years ago, we lost of our little boy Adrian Michael Heredia. My little angel was in my womb for 7 1/2 months. Today, I opened my little treasure box and saw his picture. All my feelings of anger, shock, and indescribable sorrow came back. There were no tears in my eyes, but a pain in my heart and an emptiness in my soul.

We now have our precious little girl, Briana Raquel. She's a big joy in our lives, She fills our lives with lots of love and happiness. There are still days, when I see her and wonder how great it would of been for her to have her big brother to play with.

I Love you both my My Little Angel and My precious Girl.

My New Photo Printer

Yeah! I finally got a new photo printer. We got the HP Photosmart D7360 at a real good deal. We got it on sale and then I had a $30.00 coupon for the purchase being over $150.00. So I got a $199.00 printer for about $129.00.

I printed a few test pictures and the colors are awesome! I need to go buy photo paper tomorrow, so I can print my pictures and start scrapping.
