Two Years ago today......

George and I held a beautiful tiny red-faced screaming baby girl, a real little person, and I wasn't at all sure what to do with her. Today, this tiny red-faced baby girl turns 2 years old. Where has the time gone. Every time,I think about it, my eyes tear up. You have been such a blessing to us, you are our world.

Happy Birthday, Briana!!!! We love you.

For Sale........

Well, after a lot of thought and deliberation we have made the decision to put our house for sale. George and I are sad, but we have to do what's best for us. The real estate business is not what it used to be. Work is slow for a lot of us in this business. A few of our friends who are in the same field, have placed their homes for sale too. Yes, as they say the bubble has burst. I am sad, but at the same time excited, go figure. We have looked to see what and where we can afford to buy a new home, I am happy to say, we will be looking around where my brother, uncle and my cousin live, they all live 10 mins for each other. We right now live 1 1/2 hour (with no traffic) away from them. One of our friends is trying to convince us to move to Stanwood, WA. where they just moved to a year ago. No thanks. I am a California girl, give me sunshine and ocean.....not snow.

I hope and pray that the house sales fast and we can get to the next chapter of our lives.

1) I love to read before going to bed.
2) I love Summer!
3) I love to look out the back window & watch the pretty birdies play in the water inside our water fountain

5) I love to watch Briana's personality change by the minute. She will be a very determined young lady.
6) I hate all the squirrels and rabbits that get into our backyard, eating my beautiful flowers!
7) I spend to much time on message boards & surfing the web. I guess I am an Internet addict.

Where has the week gone......

Not much happening here. Briana's has had a cold for almost a week. She's had fever for about two days. We took her to her doctor on Friday afternoon and she has a cough, runny nose, ear infection and an eye infection. This is the first time she's been this sick. Now today, I have a sore throat and feel weak. Argh! I hate being sick.

So, yesterday, I went house shopping with my best friend, saw some okay homes, we did see one home that we both went "wow" when we opened the door. I really like that home. She needs to sell her home first and then see what she finds. Hope, this house we both like doesn't sell, til she can sell hers first. Will see what happens.

Our Father's Day Weekend

Sunday:
We spent a relaxing Father's Day. We had our friends/neighbor over for some barbeque and had the girls play in Briana's new pool. They had a blast, they spent all afternoon in the water, they just did not want to get out of the pool. It was a hot and beautiful day.

Saturday:
We went to our friends house to celebrate Father's Day. I have known them for a long time, about 20 years or more. All our families were there. We celebrated the old Cuban way, roasting a 45 pound pig, lots of Cuba Libres and loud music. We had a such a great time. The kids had a blast running around and playing with each other.

Finding Nemo Disneyland Ride

We headed off to Disneyland yesterday morning. We had won special passes to get a sneak peek of the new Finding Nemo Submarine Ride. This ride is great. Even better than I expected it to
be. Absolutely beautiful! The new underwater vegetation is gorgeous. I was worried it would be too neon and artificial, but actually, the added color makes the ride actually look more realistic. I really felt like I was in an oceanic aquarium or the ocean itself. The best part of the ride is when you see realanamotronic figures in the water interacting with the projected images. It makes the projected images seem much more real and less 2 dimensional.

Generally, it's a great ride, and it's much better than anything has ever been done with the Subs in the past.
